Online Gambling In The USA

Many of you are probably aware that the United States had committed themselves two island nation of and Barbuda to the World Trade Organization hearing that the United States should drop restrictions on gambling in America.

Both sides declared victory, in accordance with an article I read in The Associated Press in the International Herald Tribune (8 April 2005).
Regardless of the claims, the United States intends to continue its limitations (the actual decision of the WTO in the near future).

I do not endorse gambling, but I do not see how the United States can control it. We all know that the Internet knows no borders. We know that there are legal gambling in Atlantic City and Nevada, and we know that there are about 400 Indian casinos in America (that number is growing rapidly). We also know that there are cases of legal horse racing on the Internet, not to mention the hundreds of horse racing and dog racing tracks in America.

When one adds all the facts, it seems to me that the American government is fighting a losing battle. At one point gambling will be legal in America. It may take several years, but the sector is thriving Internet business in the world.
